John Hollis is the newest flood ROCKSTAR! He recently accepted the volunteer position of Cluster Leader for Forsyth County and we are super excited. He recently served on the BRING ON THE SNOW 5k road race committee and has jumped right in serving as an adult leader for several projects. flood has become a family affair for John. His daughter Abby is a 9th grade representative for the Lambert chapter, his son Jack (a 7th grader) has started serving, and wife Regan has jumped in as well. John has been busy getting to know the student leaders in the Forsyth Chapters and looks forward to helping them fulfill their mission of engaging more students to serve!
Here is what John says about why he wanted to serve in this role:
“I made a list about what I envision how I could best serve flood. All roads led to getting in the trenches with the students and working with them! I love working with the kids in Flood. I’m a big kid myself, and I think I would love to be in a position to mentor them and help them get others excited about flood! I also have been hearing God tell me “John you’ve got to help flood GROW!” I am a people person and the FARTHEST from a desk job or sitting in a board room type of person. I need to be able to get my hands dirty! I am one of your biggest cheerleaders! ALL THAT BEING SAID, I would really like to accept the Cluster leader position. You can also count on me to be an adult project leader any time I am available! I do really want this organization to GROW! flood is always at the top of my list for prayers! PUT ME IN COACH!”
