program model

flood’s program model includes 5 “saturation methods” that serve as the catalyst to get students out in the community serving and making a difference in the lives of others.

SCHOOL CHAPTERS

School Chapters are set up in high schools to recruit students to serve at local projects, to raise awareness about social injustices, and have “in house” projects to support work with community partners. Each chapter has a teacher sponsor and student leaders that oversee the chapter at each school. With the help of flood adult leadership, student leaders are equipped with the skills and resources needed to develop and sustain thriving school chapters.

SERVE NOW

SERVE NOW Projects take place throughout the month. They are scheduled in order to bring flood chapters and other students together who want to serve. Three times during the school year, school chapters have “focus” projects designed for their individual schools.

GET WET

These custom short-term mission trips are one day service days, weekend or week long mission trips to provide students the opportunity to immerse themselves in service.

BRING ON THE RAIN

BRING ON THE RAIN special projects are scheduled on a specific day in order to celebrate the accomplishment of historical individuals and student service throughout the year.

STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS

Strategic Partnerships are established with local churches and youth organizations by providing local mission opportunities for their students and small group/discipleship leaders.  Organizations are encouraged to participate in other saturation methods and to promote school chapters with their students. flood can also organize service projects designed specifically for students at their organization.
