Adults are a crucial piece to the success of flood and the work students do in the community. Adults can get as involved as much or as little as they want.
Adults are needed to serve as Chapter Coordinators for local schools. They serve as encouragers, motivators, and a source of support for the student leaders who work directly in the schools.
Adults can serve as Project Hosts for monthly ARK projects, GET WET short term trips, and BRING ON THE RAIN days of service. Project Hosts help drive and chaperone students to the actual service projects.
A monthly prayer list is distributed to students and adults that outline the needs and praises of students, projects, and community partners. The Prayer Team is the most behind the scene role for flood but by far the most important.
flood hosts several special events (service and fund-raising) throughout the year. Adult volunteers assist with the coordination and implementation of these events.
The Hope Store is a unique opportunity for flood to receive financial support by the store’s proceeds. Adult volunteers are needed to help coordinate volunteers, distribute fliers and get donations for the store.
