THERE IS A “flood” AT THE AIRPORT
We all knew that flood was growing as more and more students are finding out how they can make a difference in their communities by “catching the wave.” However, we had no idea where flood would end up out on the streets. Just this week a former flood student at UGA texted me to say that someone saw her car with the flood sticker on it and asked, “Did you do flood in high school?” She thought it was so cool that even off at college, flood would still be a topic of conversation for her.
Today, one of our parent volunteers was in a parking lot at Hartsfield International Airport and emailed me the picture here. “WOW, the airport. That’s pretty cool,” and after trying to figure out whose car it was (which I couldn’t figure out) the reality set in that flood is really making an impact all over the place.
